Dynamical distance as a semi-metric on nuclear conguration space
In this paper, we introduce the concept of dynamical distance on a nuclear conguration space. We partition the nuclear conguration space into disjoint classes. This classification coincides with the classical partitioning of molecular systems via the concept of conjugacy of dynamical systems. It gives a quantitative criterion to distinguish dierent molecular structures.
متن کاملSOME ERGODIC PROPERTIES OF HYPER MV {ALGEBRA DYNAMICAL SYSTEMS
This paper provides a review on major ergodic features of semi-independent hyper MV {algebra dynamical systems. Theorems are presentedto make contribution to calculate the entropy. Particularly, it is proved that thetotal entropy of those semi-independent hyper MV {algebra dynamical systemsthat have a generator can be calculated with respect to their generator ratherthan considering all the par...
متن کاملExpansivity of Semi–Hyperbolic Lipschitz Mappings
Semi-hyperbolic dynamical systems generated by Lipschitz mappings are shown to be exponentially expansive, locally at least, and explicit rates of expansion are determined. The result is applicable to nonsmooth noninvertible systems such as those with hysteresis effects as well as to classical systems involving hyperbolic diffeomorphisms. متن کاملOrbit-counting in Non-hyperbolic Dynamical Systems
There are well-known analogs of the prime number theorem and Mertens’ theorem for dynamical systems with hyperbolic behaviour. Here we consider the same question for the simplest non-hyperbolic algebraic systems. The asymptotic behaviour of the orbit-counting function is governed by a rotation on an associated compact group, and in simple examples we exhibit uncountably many different asymptoti...
متن کاملThe comparison of two high-order semi-discrete central schemes for solving hyperbolic conservation laws
This work presents two high-order, semi-discrete, central-upwind schemes for computing approximate solutions of 1D systems of conservation laws. We propose a central weighted essentially non-oscillatory (CWENO) reconstruction, also we apply a fourth-order reconstruction proposed by Peer et al., and afterwards, we combine these reconstructions with a semi-discrete central-upwind numerical flux ...
